Now it's starting to become very challenging. I have so many favourite series and to list only one would be impossible. Therefore I have chosen my top 5 favourite series.
The first is of course the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling. This was the first series I read which was very different to what I usually read. It strengthened my literacy skills and widened my vocabulary since before Harry Potter I generally read children's books such as Roald Dahl etc.
The second is The Infernal Devices trilogy by Cassandra Clare. I have been with this series since the first book was released. I love everything about it, the characters, the setting and the plot. If I had to pick out anything negative I wouldn't be able to do it. This was the first series in which i developed my first fictional crush Will Herondale! :) :D
The third is the Skulduggery Pleasant series by Derek Landy. There are 9 books in this series and I have been on this bandwagon since 2009. That is how dedicated I am. I just LOVE this series, I ADORE the author and this is one of the few series that fills me with laughter because Derek Landy is like the KING of humour. It is very unique and the series grows on you through and through just like Vampire Academy. You see the development of Derek Landy as an author throughout this series.
My fourth is Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. This series is perfect for any age, whether you are an adult or child. It has the most unique writing style. It's funny yet serious and the characters are awesome! It's very light but dark at the same time. And it is just AMAZING!
The fifth is the Archers of Avalon trilogy by Chelsea Fine. I read this trilogy last year and I pretty much marathoned it. It was AMAZING!! In just three books in three days you fall in love with everything about this series and you develop fictional crushes. You are constantly trying to figure out what will happen next but are always misleaded. This trilogy was/is AWESOME!
